Breaking News – Students Alert – Fraud on The Name of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU)
What a country is Pakistan and how our authorities are working? Will you believe that fake Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU)is working in Lahore. The name of this university is International All Education Open University (IAEOU). Many innocent students have got admission in various programs of this so called AIOU. FIA and AIOU authorities are still not aware of this scam. Neither Allama Iqbal Open University has registered any complaint against IAEOU nor FIA has initiated any inquiry.
This institute is openly using the name of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and deceiving innocent students. IAEOU has just given phone numbers on its website through which students are give admission in various programs and fees are received. Institute is offering matric to PhD level so called distance learning programs. It is offering admission in M.Phil and PhD programs without NTS GAT tests. Easy Paisa and Omni Bank services are used for receiving fees. Fees for different classes are as follows
Matriculation- 4775
Intermediate Programs- 5775
Bachelor Programs- 8 to 10 thousands per semester
M.Phil/PhD- Up to 20000 rupees per semester
Our legal team tried to contact on given phone numbers but all the numbers were off after publishing news in daily Jang. You will find lot of spelling mistakes on official website of IAEOU which proves that its a fraud by some evil genius persons with poor academic record. Website is also under construction. Although HEC or AIOU have not even published any students alert in newspapers about this scam but we are warning you to contact HEC before getting admission in any institution.
It was just one example there are many other fake institutions are working in various cities of Pakistan. Sub campuses of many universities are also illegal. Is HEC has just a role of giving the lists of unauthorized universities on its website or it should take legal actions against the such institutions? Same is the case with online earning websites. Many ads by scam companies are published in newspapers daily but nobody takes action against them. We demand that government should close all fake and unauthorized educational institutes in Pakistan and scam e earning websites. Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) must also alert students on home page of its official website.
