My fourth generation is in teaching profession and still thinking that its best profession under the sky. All Prophets of Almighty Allah were teachers. There is still a great scope of teaching profession all over the world even in Pakistan. Majority of students in Pakistan still think that there is no scope of teaching profession in Pakistan. They think that its a powerless profession. In fact all these students are 100% wrong.

My father got retirement in 2005 as professor of 20th grade, still he is a powerful member of the Pakistani society. His students respect him from the core of his heart. His students are on the key positions of all government departments. I still feel that my father is a CSS officer due to his great contacts. His students help us in case of any kind of problem. It is just because of devotion of my father towards its profession. He used to give free lectures even after college timing to weak students. Now his students respect him due to his great services towards them and take his any request as an order.

So dear students never underestimate the importance of teaching profession, if you can take this profession as a sacred one.

Primary Teaching

Earlier CT certificate holders are recruited as primary teachers but now BEd degree holders are preferred.

Secondary Level Teaching

For becoming a teacher in a middle or secondary school in Pakistan you must have got BEd degree.

College Lecturer

For becoming a lecturer one have to clear public service commission exam. Minimum eligibility criteria is MSc or MA. BEd and Med degree holders are given preference on simple master degree holders. Now a days MPhil/MS degree holders are preferred.

University Professors

For becoming a university lecturer you must have at least MS/MPhil Degree. BEd or MEd degree will provide you an edge on your competitors.

Special Education Teaching

There is a great scope of special education teaching in Pakistan. This field is specific for kind hearted people. Its an hard but paying profession too. We still lack professional special education experts. Its an highly recommended field for females.

Montessori Education

Montessori education is becoming popular in Pakistan. Large number of fake private institutions are offering Montessori diplomas and certificates. Even a fake Montessori council is also working in Pakistan. Never get admission in such fake institutions. Just get BEd degree in related field and get further knowledge from internet.

MA Education

It is considered as an alternative of BEd and MEd but i recommend you to prefer BEd/MEd on MA Education due to our local rules.

4 Years BEd Degree

Now many universities in Pakistan are offering 4 years BEd degree program. Its also a great recommended program for those students who have decided to chose teaching as their future profession. Females must go for this degree as its better for them as compared to any other arts degree. It will secure their future. Its a professional degree, which will help them in getting job both in public and private educational
