SMDC Lahore MBBS & BDS Admissions 2024-25

Sharif Medical & Dental College Lahore has opened admission in MBBS and BDS in session 2024-25. SMDC is a project of Sharif Medical city. Admissions will be granted on 100 seats of MBBS and 50 seats of BDS. 85 seats in MBBS and 43 seats in BDS are reserved for Pakistani students, while rest of the seats are reserved for foreigners and dual national Pakistanis. Last date to apply for admission in MBBS or BDS is has neither been mentioned in newspaper ad nor on official website. No application form will be received after due date. Till the closing date admission office will remain open even on Sunday and gazetted holidays.

Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates can apply who have got minimum first division in F.Sc Pre medical or any equivalent exam as prescribed by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
Applicants must have appeared in provincial Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT)

Alternative options is provided to students who apply on foreign seats. They must have passed the SAT II exam, but it is mandatory for such students that they should have got minimum 550 score in each of three subjects of which two must be Biology and Chemistry. Last subject may be Physics or Mathematics. Admissions will be granted purely on merit base.

SMDC also provides accommodation on first come first server basis. Air conditioned transport is also provided to students. SMDC is affiliated with UHS Lahore and recognized by PMDC. It is also enlisted in international Medical Education Directory (MED) FAIMER. College has two teaching hospitals
