Tele School PTV Channel, First Educational Channel in Pakistan For Class One to Inter-Home Schooling Initiative By Federal Education Ministry
Coronavirus has affected almost all walks of life around the world. In Pakistan there is a complete lockdown. All educational institutions will remain closed till at least 1st June. Even tuition centers and coaching academies are closed. Students are spending their time in watching cartoons, movies and playing games. Keeping this scenario in view government was thinking to take some 6revolutionary step for keeping students busy in some sort positive activities. Now it has been decided officially to launch the first educational tv channel in Pakistan for home schooling. Name of this channel will be TeleSchool Tv.
Ministry of education is going to launch Tele School channel for home schooling. Pakistan Television PTV is collaboration with federal education ministry for launching this new TeleSchool channel. On this TV lectures from class 1 to intermediate will be telecasted daily. Tele School Tv will start its voyage from 14th of April, 2020. Very experienced teachers and professors of government educational institutes will deliver lectures about all important subjects of class one to intermediate. These lectures will be broadcasted from 8 AM to 6 PM daily.
This initiative have brought the home schooling concept in Pakistan. Hopefully these lectures will be uploaded on youtube too. These online lectures on internet will help the students and parents in future too for home schooling purpose. Remember that PTV is getting 100 rupees monthly from each electricity bill in Pakistan. Total PTV in earning about 21 billion rupees annually from this source. Now first time PTV is going to justify this subsidy given by Pakistani public.
