PAK – USAID & HEC Need and Merit Base Scholarships 2025
USAID has invited applications for grant of scholarships on need and merit basis from the needy students of business administration, agriculture, social sciences, nursing, veterinary sciences and engineering and technology. HEC is also collaborating with USAID in this regard. Needy students from all over the Pakistan can apply for these scholarships. Fifty percent (50%) quota has been reserved for females. These need base USAID scholarships 2025 are available in 34 universities. Students of undergraduate and graduate courses both can apply for these need and merit base awards.

Tuition fee
Boarding and lodging
Books
Transportation
Other educational expenditures
Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be eligible to get admission in related program in one of the partner university.
Applicant must be eligible to get admission in USAID partner universities in 2024-25 session.
Applicant must belong to low income family
Application Procedure
USAID scholarships 2025Â forms are available at the HECÂ website and financial assistance offices of 34 partner universities of USAID.
Interested candidates can submit online application for usaid scholarships 2025 at eportal.hec.gov.pk.
Candidates can also submit their dully filled scholarships forms along with all required documents in the financial assistance office of their concerned university.
HEC will not receive any application form.
USAID Scholarship Phase One Success Story
In the first phase of USAID scholarships 1807 scholarships were awarded on need and merit base. More than 20 percent scholarships were given to females. More than 1400 scholarships winners have completed their degrees. USAID Partners universities have established financial assistance offices and university advancement offices to facilitate the students.
Note
Students who are already getting any scholarship from university are not eligible.
These awards are not for study in USA.
Applications after the university/institution’s deadline will be rejected.
There is no application or processing fee of any type.

Last date is different for different universities as per their admission schedule. Please contact your related university or read the newspaper ad cutting.
As per ad this scheme is for graduate and undergraduate programs. But if you have got admission in any of the above mentioned universities contact to university’ financial ad office for further details

There must be some limit of seats which has not been mentioned. Generally verification process is completed within 3 months but its not an hard and fast rule.
