Registration Schedule of Children from 12 to 16 Years For WAPDA Endowment Fund for Sports Scholarships

Wapda has announced the schedule for WAPDA Endowment Fund for Sports scholarship for year 2024-25. Students from 10 to 16 years can apply now for WEFS. Boys who have interest in hockey, football, karate, weight lifting and wrestling and girls who have interest in athletics, hockey, karate and squash are eligible for WEFS scholarships if their date of birth is from 1-1-2004 to 1-1-2008. If such students want to become professional player of their favorite game then they should come for trial at 9 am with their form B and school card with photo as per given schedule on the places explained in the newspaper ad.

 

 

Stage 1 of WAPDA Endowment Fund for Sports Scholarship

First stage of trial will be about general fitness test. Following exercises will be included in the first stage;
You will have to run 600 meters in 3 minutes or less time. Girls will have to run 400 meters within 2 minutes.
20 Push ups
You will have to complete cone drill of 44 meters in 10 seconds or less time.
Six chin ups

 

 

Stage 2 of WEFS Sports Scholarship 2024

In the second stage the successful students of fitness test will have to appear in the sports specific test of their favorite game. Here are the details about sports specific tests for different games;
1-Athletics- 100 meters, 400 meters, 800 meters
2-Karate- 35, 40, 45 & 50 Kg
3-Wrestling- 45, 50, 55 & 60 Kg
4-Weight Lifting- 45 Kg, 50 Kg, 55 Kg & 60 Kg
5-For football and hockey you will have to play a match of 30 minutes.
6-Tennis- Under 14 & Under 16
7-Squash-Under 14 & 16

 

 

 

Stage 3 of WEFS Sports Scholarship

Players who will qualify for required standards will be enrolled properly. Successful applicants will be given 7000 per month stipend for sports and studies while staying at home.
