Lets read comprehensive guide on asf jobs of corporal. Corporal jobs are announced on regular basis by ASF. Unlike CTD Here in airport security force corporal is equal to constable. Two kinds of corporals are recruited in ASF i.e corporal and corporal driver. Corporal in ASF are given 7th scale whereas corporal drivers are given 5th scale. Both these posts are uniform jobs. Remember that MT drivers are also recruited in ASF but its a civilian post.

 

 

Generally ASF recruits its staff through department written test. Online registration facility is provided on joinasf.gov.pk. Candidates may also download form from asf.gov.pk for submitting it by post. Applicants can apply only through one method. If you want to apply for more than one post then you will have to apply separately for each post. There is no need of submitting academic and experience certificates at the time of form submission as these documents are received only from shortlisted candidates before interview.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum required qualification for posts of corporals and corporal drivers is SSC/Matriculation. Lower age limit is 18 years while upper age limit is 30 years. Both males and females can apply for ASF jobs of corporals but just male candidates are eligible to apply for post of corporal driver. Male candidates for corporal jobs should have height of at least 5.6 inches. Required height of female applicants is 5.2 inches. No concession is given in height at all. There is no requirements of minimum chest size for females, but male candidates should have 32 3/4 to 34 3/4 chest. Weight should be as per your height. For ASF corporal jobs candidates should have valid LTV/HTV driving license. Candidates should also be medically fit.

 

 

Physical Test
Females are not called for ASF jobs physical test. Physical test is mandatory for just uniform posts of airport security force like ASI, corporal and corporal driver. Candidates for corporal jobs in ASF have to run one mile in maximum 7.30 minutes. 22 push ups in 2 minutes and 22 sit ups in two minutes are part of physical tes. Physical and medical tests are conducted in the recruitment centers of Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Peshawar, Quetta, Gwadar, Sui, Gilgit, Chitral, Sukkur, Nawab Shah, DI Khan, Skardu, Quetta, Panjgur, DG Khan, Turbat, Swat, Mohenjo-daro, Zhob, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur and Dalbadin. Candidates are advised to wear joggar or PT shoe during physical test. Candidates will have to come with Nadra CNIC and physical/medical test slip. Written Test
For the corporal jobs you will have to appear in written test too. Candidates for Corporal drivers are only called for practical test of driving. For appearing in written test you will have to bring CNIC, test slip and corona vaccination slip. Remember that ASF is a federal department that’s why corporals can be posted at any airport of Pakistan, GB, AJK and ex FATA regions. Training
You will be given training of six months most probably in Karachi. During training stipend is also given with free accommodation and meals. Corporals are trained to protect the airport area. Some of them are selected for special commando training.

 

 

Duty
Corporals protect the CAA in Pakistan by implementing counter-terrorism measures, combating crime, and ensuring law and order inside airport boundaries. ASF corporals have to give duty of only 6 hours in a day, but their duty is very risky as sometimes they have to fight against hijackers and terrorists too. In short they are responsible to protect the airports, airplanes and areas under Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority. Search and identification are two major parts of your duty.

ASF corporals receive monthly salary of about 25000 rupees.
