Federal Board of Revenue FBR Launches Point of Sale POS Invoicing System
Federal Board of Revenue FBR Pakistan has introduced a new real time invoicing system. This system has been introduced for general public. Its an automatic system for those people who are willing to pay government tax.
What is POS System?
POS system is a automatic system for recording of purchasing which connects the computerized system of shopkeeper with the FBR system through internet. There is no need of purchasing any new machine for a big shopkeeper. Such a shopkeeper can connect with FBR by just downloading an application. A bar code or QR is printed on invoice of a big shopkeeper given to purchaser. Trough this invoice a purchaser can verify his tax deduction. This system helps the shopkeeper in in making the sales tax return through an automatic system. It helps the shopkeeper in reducing the expenditure.
By implementing this system you may get rid of inspection by FBR officials. This system is being run in more than 70 brands of clothes and lather. More than 3825 shops are getting benefit from this POS system. Soon this system will be connected with the all shopping chain stores and restaurants of Islamabad.
