CSS MCQ Based Preliminary Test (MPT) Schedule 2023, Syllabus, Rules, Eligibility, Application Form
Federal Public Service Commission has announced the schedule of CSS screening test 2023. Application deadline is 26th December, 2022. It is expected that this objective type CSS screening test will be conducted on 31st January, 2023. Schedule for CSS written test will be announced after CSS screening test. Only those students will be eligible for CSS written test 2023 who will clear this CSS screening test 2023. CSS screening test centers will be in Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, DG Khan, DI Khan Faisalabad, Gilgit, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Larkana Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Sukkur and Turbat.
Eligibility For CSS Screening Test 2023
Candidates should have passed any bachelor degree in second division. Male, female, minority and disable candidates can apply for this exam. Age of candidates should be from 21 to 30 years. 2 years age relaxation in upper age limit is also possible as per the CSS regulations. Cut off date for determining the age will be 31 December, 2023.
How To Submit Application Form for CSS Screening Test 2023?
Online forms for CSS screening test 2023 will be received from 10 December, 2022 to 26 December, 2022. Online application form, challan form, rules and syllabus for CSS screening test is available at www.fpsc.gov.pk. Submit the form before 26-12-2022.
Instructions About MPT 2023
Fill the form very carefully after reading the given instructions. Application processing fee for CSS screening test 2023 is only 250 rupees, which you may submit in any branch of SBP or NBP in head of account C02101-Organs of State Exam Fee (FPSC Receipt) before the final deadline. On the test date candidates will have to bring original copy of challan form with them. Computerized admission certificate will be available from FPSC portal i.e www.fpsc.gov.pk. Admission certificate will not be sent by post. Candidates will not be allowed to change the test center after selection in online form. No application in this regard will be considered in any case. CSS aspirants are directed to provide the accurate CNIC number and date of birth, otherwise their applications will be rejected.
CSS Screening Test 2023 Rules & Regulations
MPT will be effective from CSS 2023. Its a mandatory qualifying test for appearing in main CSS written exam 2023. Unlimited chances will be given for appearing in CSS screening test. This MCQ type test has 200 total marks and 200 MCQs. No marks will be deducted on wrong answers. Duration of MPT test will also be 200 minutes. Qualifying threshold is 33%, it means for clearing the CSS screening test 2023 you will have to get at least 66 numbers out of 200 total marks. Answer keys will be displayed on FPSC website on the same day after conclusion of test (31st Jan, 2023).
You will be given permission to take carbon copy of answer sheet with you for your personal record. Score of this knowledge based test MPT will remain valid for just one year. Result of CSS screening test 2023 is expected on 15th February, 2023. Applications for main CSS written test will be received from MCQ test qualifiers from 19th Feb, 2023 to 5th March 2023.
