Because of this, the Pak Army also made regular strides for commissioned officers in the technical fields so that the students of the best skills of the country, while serving their country and nation in the areas of interest, also served as Army officers.
This is an excellent opportunity for FSC (Pre-Engineering) students to apply alongside the PMA Long Course or just as a Technical Cadet. According to this procedure you will become an engineer and also an Army officer. Eligibility requirements are the same as for an Army officer.
What is the Initial Selection?
The AS&RC preliminary test will include questions related to English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer. This test will be much harder than the test for ordinary cadets. Without strong preparation you will not be able to go beyond it. You will be shortlisted based on this test. Shortlist students will be called for ISSB. Your detailed examination will be taken at ISSB specifically.
Important Requirements Needed
Age: 17 years to 21 years (3 months reduction or more) will be discounted.
Sex: Male marital status. Not married
Nationality: Being a citizen of Pakistan. Hence having a second citizenship on the final election, the candidate has to withdraw from any other citizenship other than Pakistan.
Physical Requirements for Candidates
Minimum height: 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 centimeters)
Weight: According to physical standards
Educational Qualification Requirements for Candidates
The candidates should have a qualification in FSC (Pre-Engineering) Physics, mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Studies. They should have passed at least 65% marks in computer science or senior Cambridge ‘O’ level (English as compulsory) in five subjects. They should have physics Passed in Chemistry in Grade A-C which means at least C grade.
A candidate who has passed the FSC (Part One) 65% marks and is appearing for the FSC Part Two examination should have the Hope Certificate issued by his college by the College Principal.
The candidate must submit the FSC (Part Two) Education Board Roll Number Slip to PA Dte / PA-3 (b). The candidate will send the Result Card / Mark sheet within one week of being released from the Board of Education otherwise the candidate will not be included in the final merit list. All these tasks are to be done by the candidate himself. Candidates who have done FSC in Computer Science can apply for computer software.
