1-United states have given nuclear umbrella to many of its allied countries like Japan and South Korea.
2-Pentagon is the headquarters building of American army. It is the largest low-rise office building of the world till now. This building has 5 sides and it was also attacked on 9-11-2001 by Al-Qaida.
3-CIA is the abbreviation of Central Intelligence Agency and it was formed on 18-11-1947. It is the prime civilian foreign intelligence service of the central government of USA.
4-FBI is also an intelligence agency of USA but it also performs the law enforcement function. In short Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) focuses more on internal intelligence and federal crimes.
5-Civil war in USA was fought from April 12, 1861 to April 9, 1865 between Union Army OF southern states and Confederate Army of Northern states. Union army won this deadliest war of USA history.

 

 

6-Homeland Security department of USA is a central agency which protects the American people from threats of all kinds. 22 agencies and department of federal government of USA work under Homeland Security like coast guard, secret service, immigration, custom and border protection.
7-Franklin D. Roosevelt won 4 Presidential elections in USA but now no President can enjoy more than 2 terms. He died in office on April 12, 1945 due to sudden hemorrhagic stroke.
8-USA was a colony of Great Britain before independence. American revolution began in 1776 and British were defeated in 1783.
9-Korean war was fought between North Korea and South Korea from 25 June, 1950 to 27 July, 1955. America also joined this war to restrict the communism in Asia and to support South Korea. USSR and China helped the North Korea in this war. No side could defeat each other decisively.
10-Cold war between United States of America and USSR reached at its peak in October 1962 due to Cuban missile crisis. In fact USSR installed its ballistic missiles in Cuba and USA took it a serious danger for its defense. On the strict warning of US President John F Kennedy, USSR President Nikita Khrushchev ordered to remove the missile installation from Cuba for avoiding serious nuclear conflict.

 

 

11-American political scientist Samuel P. Huntington presented the Clash of Civilizations theory in 1996. Thesis says that in the post-Cold War world future wars will be fought between Western civilization and Islamic/Chinese civilizations.
12-Harvard University is the oldest university of USA which was established in 1636. Its basically a private university in Cambridge, Massachusetts America.
13-Niagra Falls is at the border of USA and Canada. Majority of people do not know that Niagra Falls is basically a group of three waterfalls i.e Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.
14-China is the trying to end the American supremacy in the world through OBOR and its economic rise. USA has failed on contain Chinese progress in the field of economics, military and research. It seems that within 1 decade China will be able to sole super power of the world.
15-America launched war on terrorism in 2001. It is still being fight in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria and Yemen. Its gorilla war in nature. War on terror is also known as 3rd world war, the forever war, the long war etc. Leaders of Taliban, ISIS, Al-Qaida have been killed by US army but these groups are still active in one shape or another.

16-Pakistan arranged the Henry Kissinger’s secret visit to China in July 1971 for normalizing the relations between USA and China. Pakistan also played the role of front line country in Afghan war (1979 to 1988 and war against terror just for protection of United States and western world. USA always took Pakistan as taken for  granted but now its our turn and through China-Pakistan Economic Corridor we are going to make China the next super power of the world.
17-Richard Nixon was 37th President of USA who resigned from office due to water gate scandal on 9th of August, 1974. He tried to steal some important documents through 5 burglars from the office of his rival party and then tried to cover up this incident by lying. Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters was situated at the Watergate office complex in Washington DC.
18-President Bill Clinton admitted that he had “inappropriate relationship” with Monica Samille Lewinsky. He was impeached by Congress but he survived in impeachment.
19-John F. Kennedy was 35th President of USA and he is famous for successfully handling the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was assassinated early in his presidency on 22 November, 1963. He became President of USA by defeating ex vice President Richard Nixon.
20-There are two main political parties in United States of America i.e the Democrats and the Republicans. These two parties are ruling USA since the end of civil war.

 

21-American astronaut Neil Armstrong was the first man who landed on moon on July 20, 1969.
22-Name of America was derived from the name of Amerigo Vespucci, who was an Italian explorer and famous for exploring and mapping new world.
23-Christopher Columbus discovered the America in 1492. It is said that Viking and Arabs have also settled in America before Christopher Columbus.
24-Great depression started from October 24, 1929 with dramatic crash of the New York stock market. It was the worst economic downturn in the history of USA and Western world. 26-Hawaii is the one and only state of USA which is situated in Pacific ocean and is composed of islands only.
27-Martin Luther King Junior raised the voice for rights of blacks in USA. His speech “I Have a Dream” is one of the most read speeches of the world. He was assassinated on 4th April, 1968. He was also given noble prize. He delivered more than 2500 speeches on equal civil rights of blacks and weights in United States.
28-United States of America is the fourth largest country of the world by area and it is also the third largest country by population after China and India.
29-President Bush senior and President Bush junior were father and son in relation.
30-American President live and work in White House. It was inaugurated in 1800. John Adams was first US President in White House.

 

31-American army killed the famous terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi on October 26, 2019.
32-There is no official language in United States but national language of USA is English. It is slightly different from British English.
