Latest Breaking News- Free Laptops For BS and Master Students of AIOU Under Prime Minister Scheme
Allama Iqbal Open University has directed its students, who had enrolled themselves in any Master or 4 year bachelor (BS) program in Spring 2012 and afterwards, to provide their particulars for getting laptops under Prime Minister’s free laptop scheme for AIOU students. Students will have to provide following particulars
Student’s name,
Father’s name,
Enrollment number
Enrollment date
CNIC number
PM Free Laptops For Bachelor and Master Students of AIOU
Students have been advised to send their data to the email address, director_sac@aiou.edu.pk, immediately. A circular has been issued in this regard officially. Allama Iqbal Open University will send the data of students to HEC for checking the eligibility criteria. Higher Education Commission will review the data received by AIOU and list of eligible students will be uploaded on the HEC site. Then eligible students will have to validate their data at http://pmnls.hec.gov.pk. In case of successful validation with in the due date, you will receive an E-Mail and SMS from Higher Education Commission, which will show that you have successfully verified your data and now you are entitle to receive free laptop under PM free laptop scheme. You should save this verification SMS or email for future record purpose.
If you do not know the exact method of verification on HEC site, do not worry as we have written a detailed article with photo shots to guide you in this regard. Remember that just by sending your data to AIOU you do not become entitle to get free laptop under PM free laptop scheme. Only selected and eligible students will get free laptops under Prime Minister free laptop scheme. So all AIOU students who have valid enrollment in any Masters or 4-year BS program after Spring 2012, must send their required data as early as possible on the above given email address.
