The 12th Rabi ul Awal is the most significant day in the Islamic calendar as it marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) is a very significant event in the history of Islam & whole mankind. It is a day of immense importance and is celebrated by Muslims all over the world with great zeal and fervor. In Pakistan, the Eid Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations generally last for the whole month of Rabi ul Awal and specially on 12th Rabi ul Awl. Special processions are taken out on the streets and people sing religious songs (Hamd) and recite poems in praise of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
