KMDC Karachi M.B.B.S & B.D.S Admission 2022-23
Karachi Medical & Dental College KMDC has invited applications on prescribed forms for admission in M.B.B.S & B.D.S in session 2022-23. Forms for admission test along with prospectus will be available form Karachi Medical and Dental College, Block M North Nazimabad Karachi from 00-10-2022 to 00-10-2022. Last date for submission of forms is 00th October, 2022 (till 1 PM). No form will be issued or received after the due dates. Price of prospectus and admission form is 2500 rupees, which will be received through challan form issued by NTS. Same form will be valid for M.B.B.S and B.D.S admission. Candidates will have to submit attested copies of following documents at the time of issuance of form.

 

1- Domicile
2-PRC
3-Marks certificates of Matriculation, Intermediate, O-Level and A-Level
4-CNIC of Form B of candidate
5-Domicile and CNIC of father & with permanent address of Karachi

 

Eligibility Criteria
1-Candidates who have passed the F.Sc Pre Medical exam with minimum 60% marks in 2022 annual exams.

 

2-Candidates who have passed A-Level or grade 12th (American School) exam in 2022 with English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry from Karachi center and they have got equivalence certificate from IBCC, Islamabad. Such candidates also have to get equivalence certificate for O-Level or grade 10th.

 

3-Equivalence certificate of such candidates, who have not read above mentioned subjects in A-Level m or grade 12th will not be accepted.

 

4-Applicant must have passed the last two exams from Karachi board/center. Those candidates who have passed HSC exam from any overseas center through federal board are also eligible to apply.

 

5-Those candidates who have reappeared in HSC exam 2022 for improvement in marks are also eligible, but they have to submit the proof of their improved marks.

 

6- If the father has died or he does not have the domicile of Karachi then submit the CNIC and domicile of mother.

 

7-If the candidate had appeared from any other board than Karachi in any year due to transfer or deputation of his government servant parents, then he is eligible to apply but he have to submit the relevant proof.

 

8-Candidates will have to appear in Aptitude/entry test. This MCAT entry test will comprise of the following subjects of HSSC level.
Physics
English
Biology
Chemistry

 

9-Merit will be calculated as per following formula
Entry Test- 50 %
HSC- 40 %
SSC- 10 %

 

10- Final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit list after the interviews conducted by admission committee. Students will have to present their original documents at this stage.

 

11-All the selected candidates will have to appear in medical examination before KMDC medical bard before submitting the fee.

 

12-250 seats for M.B.B.S and 100 seats of B.D.S are available.

 

13-20 % seats will be filled on self finance basis.

 

14-10 % seats are reserved for foreign and overseas Pakistani students.

 

15-National Testing Service will conduct the ECAT entry test on 00th November, 2022.
