Pakistan Marine Academy has invited applications for admission to 62nd batch of Nautical( Deck) & engineering cadets session 2024-25. Those who have craze to see the world should join merchant navy.

 

 

Eligibility Criteria

1-Candidate must be male unmarried citizen of Pakistan.

2-Applicant’s age must be below 20 years on 31st December 2023.

3-Age limit for residents of FATA, FANA and AJK is 21 years.

4-Applicant must have passed FSc pre engineering or any equivalent exam with minimum 2nd division.

5-Result awaiting students can also apply but they have to submit their mark sheets immediately after the result announcement.

 

 

Application Procedure

1-Prospectus along with application form is available from PMA new entry office.

2-You may also down load the application form from official website of Pakistan Marine Academy i.e www.marineacademy.edu.pk.

3-All the applicants who will apply against open merit seats will have to submit bank draft or pay order of 2500 rupees in drawn favor of Pakistan Marine academy Karachi NBP, PMA branch code 0239.

4-Self finance applicants will have to submit additional pay order or bank draft pf 300000 rupees along with the application form as self finance fee.

 

 

Selection Procedure
1-All the candidates will have to appear in entry test conducted by testing service. Test will be taken simultaneously in Karachi, Lahore, Sukkur, Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Quetta. Test takers will have to get 45% marks to qualify the written test.

2-After the entrance test successful candidates will have to appear in medical test at designated CMH.

3-Interviews will be conducted of those candidates who will be declared medically fit.

4-For final selections following things will be considered.
Marks obtained in NTS written test
Marks in HSSC or equivalent exam
Performance in interview

 

 

 

Important Points
1-Two years residential training will be given to students. Following degree and certificates will be awarded to student on successful completion of training.
a-Associate degree in Ship Management/ Marine Engineering by NED UET Karachi
b-Certificates of Pre Sea Mandatory Courses by PMA.
Incomplete and late forms will be rejected. PMA does not provide guarantee of employment at all.

2-Forms will be received till 15th September, 2023 while PMA admission test will be conducted on 24th Sep, 2023.

3-Candidates with O and A-Level certificates will have to submit equivalence certificate issued by IBCC Pakistan.
