Senate of Pakistan has passed a resolution that now candidates should be allowed to attempt the CSS exam in Urdu language too. Amir e Jamat e Islami Siraj ul Haq presented a resolution in senate that CSS exam must be taken in Urdu language only as Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. Ministers of PTI government opposed this resolution. Minister for parliamentary affairs Ali Muhmmad Khan said that there are 45 optional subjects and 6 compulsory subjects in CSS exam. Compulsory subjects are taught in English in all the universities of Pakistan still only 5 percent candidates clear the compulsory papers of CSS, still it is not recommended to take the CSS exam only in Urdu as English has become an international language. Then on the proposal of Chairman senate it was decided to amend the resolution. In the final resolution it was decided to allow the students for attempting the CSS exam in the language of their choice i.e either in English or in Urdu.
Latest Breaking News About CSS Exam 2022-Attempt The Papers in Urdu
Remember that this decision is not final as approval is also required from national assembly. After passing the bill from national assembly CSS aspirants will be able to attempt the papers in Urdu too. We think that CSS exam should be taken only in Urdu as even now those candidates will not be passed by examiner who will attempt this exam in Urdu. FPSC can add one more compulsory English language and grammar related paper but all other papers should be taken in Urdu only. What is your opinion in this regard?
