Large number of criminal minded people use fraudulent SMS, calls and emails for cheating the innocent persons. People are asked to provide their personal data and bank account information on phone, social media sites and in emails for verification purpose. Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has advised the public not to respond anonymous SMS, calls and emails. Specially never share your passwords, user names, account’s details and pin code with any person. You should also not send money or phone balance to anyone in response to his SMS, call or email. In case of not following these instructions PTA will not be responsible for any financial fraud with you. PTA will just block the phone number of fraudulent person in case of receiving any complain after fraud with any customer.
